Description
Medical Scheduler/ Insurance Verification Specialist needed for busy specialty ambulatory surgery center.

Responsibilities
- Great patients upon arrival and check in according to protocol
- Enter and update all patient demographics
- Insurance verification and collection of co-pays
- Take detailed and accurate messages
- Assist check out with scheduling diagnostic imaging studies and coordinate lab work
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years recent insurance verification or patient financial counselor
- Good communication skills including verbal and written
- Completion of a Medical Administrative Course or Medical Assistant Course
- Good work history and positive references
- Computer skills including EMR
Previous experience as a one of the following required:
Front Office, Check In, Patient Registration, Surgery Scheduler, Referral or Authorization Coordinator
